Lazydog Craft Rum Distillery:
Brand identity and bottle label design

Logo design and bottle labels for Lazydog, a rural Leicestershire-based start-up producing a range of small-batch, distinctly British craft rums. The brief was to create a memorable and character-led brand identity that would stand out in the competitive craft spirits market, while reflecting the personality of the founders and their product.

I created a distinctive logo and packaging label design inspired by the company founders’ pet dog and brand ambassador, Gino. The logo design was created with bottle labels in mind, ensuring strong shelf presence and recognisability across a growing product range. The final design, combined with specially sourced black bottles, provides premium positioning and has enabled Lazydog to establish a unique voice within the craft drinks industry and support its growth into an award-winning distillery.
