Brand identity design for a London-based recruitment firm. Energon build and curate technology that helps employers find and hire amazing people. They asked me to oversee their recent re-brand and subsequent change of emphasis towards tech and innovation.
By moving away from their energy industry ties and focusing more on IT and technology recruitment, the challenge was to create a more personal, vibrant identity that would appeal to young IT professionals and senior executives alike. Most importantly, the new identity needed to explicitly reference the company’s tech-sector focus – and in particular the importance of coding and software development.
We used various typographic symbols relevant to computer coding in order to create the Energon helper ‘bot’. See him in action at the site below.
